NFC Africa Mining Plc.?is the first smart mine in Africa.?Thanks to an?integrated operational model based on the efficient management of information flow, business flow, and data flow, the main orebody in the west has?exceeded?its designed production capacity by 40?percent for three consecutive years. Automated load-haul-dumps?(LHDs)?in the southeast orebody have extracted up to 36,640 tonnes of ore per month, with total annual unmanned haulage reaching 800,000 tonnes.
